Apostille Seal
If you are a foreigner couple and you will get married legally in Cancun or Riviera Maya, once the Legal Wedding Ceremony ends and you get your wedding certificate, you will need an Apostille seal, is a form of authentication or certification used for international documents to verify their legitimacy. It is governed by the Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents, commonly known as the Apostille Convention.
For example in Mexico maybe you will need to provide certain documents from your home country (such as birth certificates, divorce decrees), those documents may need to be apostilled to be recognized as valid in Mexico. This involves obtaining an apostille from the appropriate authority in the country where the document was issued, certifying that the document is genuine and valid.
